New Tarriff Rules & what they mean for our US Based Customers 🇺🇸

Good News About a Not-So-Good Change – Effective August 29th, 2025
(We know this isn’t the most exciting update, but the details are important!)

For years, U.S. orders under $800.00 were duty-free thanks to the de minimis rule (yes, it’s real—Google it!). Unfortunately, as of August 29th, 2025, that rule ended. This means all international orders shipped into the USA will now have duties and brokerage and disbursment fees applied.

But here’s the bright side: we’re handling everything for you so your order stays simple and stress-free.

What’s Changing

All orders will now ship DDP (Delivered Duties Paid)—your gloves will arrive with no surprise calls, no paperwork, and no unexpected bills.

Duties will be automatically calculated at checkout. On average, duties for gloves are 22–24% of the order value.

A flat $20 brokerage & disbursement fee will apply per order, plus our regular $15 shipping.
➡️ You’ll see a simple $35 fee at checkout when selecting your shipping option.

For comparison: brokerage entry fees usually range from $5–$10, and disbursement fees are at least $14. (See: UPS Brokerage Rates)

A Few Notes

Since this rule applies to all shipments into the USA under $800, there may be slight delays while orders clear customs.

Unfortunately, we have no control over customs processing times.

Our Commitment

We know this isn’t the most exciting news, but our goal is to keep things easy, transparent, and fair. That way, you can focus on enjoying your new gloves—not surprise fees or paperwork.

Thank you for continuing to support Keepaere. These new rules are 100% outside our control, and while we’d love to absorb more costs, we already work hard to keep our glove prices as fair and accessible as possible for goalkeepers of all ages and levels.
